The problem is that this remedy will most likely only help those who are deficient in the vitamin. In other words, one of the reasons why they developed thrombocytopenia was because they didn’t have enough vitamin D in the body. And a result, this predisposed them to ITP.

So, will vitamin D help if you are not deficient in the vitamin? It will probably not be beneficial. The other problem would be toxicity by taking vitamin D when not needed.
